One of my lockdown projects was to complete a couch to 5k, which rapidly turned into running for the sake of it. Running makes you healthy and happier, it improves digestion and heart rate, gives you a good night’s sleep and apparently, it even turns you into a better leader. I have had lots of time to think about this over the past three weeks because I managed on a park run to pull my Achilles tendon. What was the thinking behind that? I wasn’t, I was thinking about work. Cross about work so go for a run [good]. Running hard because of stress and not being in the moment [stupid]. So for all those runners out there here is an article that recommends we try and stay in the moment, rather than drag our daily grind out on a run. I have time to read it instead of getting outdoors https://www.runnersworld.com/uk/a772315/running-through-stress/
Running- it’s cheaper than therapy
